What challenges did our customer face?

Our client was a young business that had benefited from a few years of significant customer and revenue growth. Yet, it was struggling to generate profit as its IT hosting costs were growing more rapidly than its income, and it had no tangible option to reverse the trend.

What did we do?

Aldemis originally engaged with the business and commercial team to find ways to change the service pricing to better align with the technology cost model. During the exercise, our consultant realized that re-engineering some of the platform to save costs was a larger opportunity.

Aldemis outlined a technology transformation programme to better use scaling up and down technical concepts and eventually led the programme over 12 months.

Outcome

Our delivery resulted in 35% cost savings in the following year and a predicted 60% savings after that. Aldemis continued to engage part-time for the following months after the delivery to act as an overall technology advisor to the board.
